борщ4breakfast: Hearty musical soup for breakfast! The four young professional musicians combine gems from the classical music canon and unusual musical genres to create an extraordinary soundscape.
Inspired by Eastern European folklore, Balkan jazz, and contemporary classical music, they create unusual arrangements that reflect their diverse musical backgrounds: Serbian, Romanian, Czech, and German.
This combination playfully creates a musical independence in which everyone can stir their personal favorite ingredients into the stew.

Together, the ensemble explores the origins of folk music, arranges pieces, composes new works, and leaves room for improvisation. With their rousing rhythms and expressive melodies, the quartet has already conquered the stages of the Heidelberg Spring Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival.
With their unique blend of traditional sounds and innovative approaches, they are causing a sensation in the classical music scene and delighting their audiences time and again.
