Chinese born Violist Wenhan Jiang is currently undertaking his MA in Performance at the Royal Academy of Music, as a recipient of the Curtis Price Scholarship under Paul Silverthorne.
As a concert performer Wenhan devotes himself to expanding the recital repertoire for viola, transcribing music from other instruments and World music, working with live composers and collaborating with other art forms. He returned back to China during the pandemic and served as a member of the resident orchestra of the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing.
Wenhan plays on a Gasparo da Salo viola, generously loaned by the Royal Academy of Music.
