Currently she is a viola student at the Curtis Institute of Music and studying with Roberto Diaz, Edward Gazouleas and Hsin-yun Huang. She has gained a steadily growing reputation through her appearances in various national and international Competitions.

Most recently she won the First prize in Washington international string competition. She was awarded Honorary Mention at Oskar Nedbal International Viola Competition and Paul Ayres Prize at Cecil Aronowitz International Viola Competition. First Prize and Special prize at the 18th lnternational Viola Competition "Villa de Llanes". Subsequently, Yizilin was invited to give several performances in Spain. First Prize in the Hong Kong lnternational String Competition. First Prize in Shanghai"Viva La Viola"Ensemble Competition,and Gold Prize in Ma Sicong Cup Competition.

Yizilin Liang served as principal of the Curtis Symphony Orchestra and played in Symphony In C.
As a chamber musician, she has performed throughout the states, most recently as a part of Curtis on Tour in Nantucket and the Kingston Chamber Music Festival.
She has shared the stage with Roberto Diaz and David Shifrin and has been participant of many festivals including the in Morningside Music Bridge Festival and New York String Orchestra Seminar.
As a soloist, she has appeared at numerous venues worldwide.
