Yunji Jang (23)

Yunji Jang, based in South Korea, is currently pursuing her master's degree at the Curtis Institute of Music where she studies with Hsin-Yun Huang and Misha Amory.
She was a prizewinner at the 28th Johannes Brahms International Competition. In 2024, she graduated at the top of the Seoul National University Class of 2024, performing at the 87th Chosunilbo Debut Concert known as a representative broadcasting company of Korea.

At age 11 years old, she performed with Cheongju and Chungbuk Philharmonic Orchestra.
Thereafter, she has won the first prizes at ‘The Music Association of Korea Competition(2020)’, ‘The Segye Times Competition(2019)’, and ‘The Strad Competition(2019)’, ‘Korean Chamber Orchestra Competition(2018)’. Moreover, being selected from Kumho Cultural Foundation, she had a solo recital '2022 Kumho Young Artist Concert' Furthermore, since 2017, she has had extensive experiences in chamber music, focusing on String Quartet.
These have included a performance at Spirit of SNU Strings X (Seoul Arts Center) in 2022, invitation to 'Samsung' as String Sextet in 2018, and the first prize at String Quartet Competition of Seoul Arts High School in 2019.

She participated diverse masterclasses with Toby Appel, Diyang Mei, Yura Lee, and Paul Neubauer.
