Yuri Yoon (27)
Yuri Yoon was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1994.
In 2017, she completed her bachelor's degree in South Korea at Seoul National University, College of Music with Prof. Ensik Choi. From winter semester 2017 to summer 2019 she studied her master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München with Prof. Hariolf Schlichtig, and graduated with honors(sehr gut, 1.0). She is currently studying the Meisterklasse with Prof. Hariolf Schlichtig.
She has been awarded in many competitions, such as the Bärenreiter Praha Music Publisher Prize and second prize at the 57th Beethoven Hradec Competition, second prize at the 1st Oskar Nedbal Competition and first prize at the International Artist Competition, the Korea Herald Competition, the Music Association Competition, and the Seoul Chamber Music Competition.
She was invited as a violist to the Arosa Klassik Festival in Switzerland in autumn 2021.
In 2021, she was selected as a scholarship holder of Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz. And from 2019 to 2021 she was a scholarship holder of the academy des Symphonieorchesters des Bayerischen Rundfunks.
